Mr. Irfan Rifandi, ST, MT, is a practitioner in the field of Corrosion, Scale and metal protection. This is in accordance with his educational background, which is a Bachelor's degree in Corrosion Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy. Both from the University of Indonesia.
He has been directly involved in the field in the fields of Corrosion, Scale, pipeline integrity and surface chemical operations for almost 30 years, mainly in oil & gas companies such as: PHE-ONWJ, BP West Java, Total E&P and service companies to oil/gas: Carboline, Wilson Walton Indonesia, Lloyds Register Indonesia and Wattyl Dimet Indonesia. He built his career from the position of Engineer, Inspector, Coordinator to the managerial level.
He is currently actively sharing his knowledge and experience through public and in-house training. Other expertise related to corrosion are: Surface Chemical, Pipeline Integrity, Protective Coating & Wrapping, Composite Wrapping, Fire Proofing, Cathodic Protection and Asset Integrity Management.
In line with his professional path, he is also active in professional organizations, namely having served as:
