Ir. Sutrisno Sonto, Msi, takes up the responsibilities of a Senior Reliability Specialist, where he can make effective use of his mechanical knowledge in a highly and efficient manner. This highly skilled specialist offers maturity, experience and commitment in the field for more than thirty solid years in oil/gas offshore and onshore.
He holds Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Magister Degree in Business in 2014. Other than formal educations he is also certified in:
• Infrared Thermograph Specialist, Indonesia
• Vibration Specialist Level 1 & Level 2, Indonesia and Singapore
• In-situ Balancing, Indonesia
• Advance Vibration Analyst, Indonesia
• Machinery Alignment, Singapore
• Machinery Vibration Analyst Level 1, Singapore
He has domestic and international professional memberships which are USA Vibration Institute, TRUC Reliability User Conf and Indonesia Oil/Gas discussion forum. Two papers issued in the forum; Strategy to Eliminate Vibration for New or Re-built Machineries due to Pipe Strain by applying API 686 Standard and My Compressor Excessive Vibration Damaging the Bearing, It is due to Liquid Discovered Inside the Screws
Started his career in 1988 in Arun LNG Project, in Aceh, Indonesia as a Vibration Leader. He moved to Singapore for two years taking the Jab Responsibility as Vibration Support Manager with the duties on vibration & sound monitoring, Technical Services and Sales. Work for Asamera (Oil & Gas Company in Indonesia) for ten years starting from 1993 as Vibration Engineer. Retired from Oil & Gas Company (Conocophillips) in 2014 as Senior Mechanical & Maintenance Specialist. During his almost 30 years career, received seven Management Awards for the extra ordinary achievements well done.
After retirement in 2014 he dedicates his time as Trainer and Consultants. Twelve operation and maintenance project related to Machinery, Rotating Equipment, Technical Assessment, Coaching & Mentoring for Gas, Petrochemical, Geothermal, Oil/Gas and Power Generation Companies both offshore & onshore around Indonesia.
