Operation Readiness, Hand Over & Assurance

BACKGROUND:

Oil and gas facilities are among the most complex in the industry. Typically, these facilities are built by world-class EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) companies through subcontracting agreements. As a result, they must adhere to strict completion schedules. Consequently, effective collaboration among the Project, Commissioning, Operation Assurance, and Operation & Maintenance teams is essential. This is because this cooperation ensures that the facilities are constructed, pre-commissioned, and safely delivered to the company in a technically sound and environmentally friendly manner. In addition, proper documentation, such as handover certificates and relevant technical documents, is critical.

This training will primarily focus on operational readiness and assurance, the project-asset lifecycle, and the collaborative roles of Project, Operational Excellence (OE), and Operability Assurance (OA) teams. We will also discuss operability assurance and readiness to facilitate a smooth handover from the EPC team to the operations teams. Furthermore, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) considerations, along with process safety, will be covered to ensure that handovers are safe, technically sound, and administratively complete.

OBJECTIVES:

Objectives of the training:

• First and foremost, understanding and practicing Operational Readiness, Hand Over & Assurance
• Additionally, Learn about Mechanical Completion, Pre Com and Commissioning
• Furthermore, gaining insights into acceptance criteria and the creation of acceptance certificates.
• While exploring Operational Readiness, we will also delve into HSE aspects and process safety.

PARTICIPANTS:

This training is primarily targeted at individuals involved in the project phase, commissioning, and handover of facilities. These participants may include members from the Project team, EPC team, Procurement, and the Operation & Maintenance team who are engaged in the handover process.

TRAINER:

Ir. Dody Lesmana – With nearly 30 years of field experience, Ir. Dody Lesmana brings a wealth of practical knowledge to the training. Thus, his extensive background will provide valuable insights into operational readiness and assurance in the oil and gas sector.
