Tribology Oil Analysis
BACKGROUND:
Machinery is assembled from many parts which some of them have relative motion, or friction among each other. This will need oil for excellent lubrication, cooler and cleaner. In order to maintain good machinery operations, one needs to understand tribology (knowledge about friction and lubrication) and oil analysis.
Lubricant is one of the important factors in the machinery system and machine maintenance. This requires knowledge and experience about the basics of the lubrication system to maintain safe bearing operating conditions. Monitoring the operating conditions of a machine and selecting the right lubricant will keep the engine performance optimal and durable.
This training will discuss how to analyze sources of disturbance and systematic damage analysis and the possibility of modifying the lubrication system. With good lubricants and proper monitoring, you are able to maintain and operate production machinery more optimally.
OBJECTIVES:
After attending the training, participants are expected to:
- Understand tribology (knowledge of friction and lubrication) and Oil Analysis.
- Able to properly implement knowledge of oil analysis in the work environment

Tribology Oil Analysis
Operation Readiness, Hand Over & Assurance
BACKGROUND: Oil and gas facilities are among the most complex in the industry. Typically, these facilities are built by world-class EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) companies through subcontracting agreements. As a result, they must adhere to strict completion schedules. Consequently, effective collaboration among the Project, Commissioning, Operation Assurance, and Operation & Maintenance teams is essential….
