Basic Process Engineering Design
BACKGROUND:
Process engineering is the core of industrial activities. It shows the steps how, when & thru what it happens, where, including symbolizing all processes & components involved. And it also involves various hardware such piping, vessel, electrical, instrumentation & control given in various disciplines in the university.
People involved in O/G industries come from various disciplines of knowledge. Therefore, this training is suitable to blend all those various knowledges to deliver more values to the entire process of production, operation and maintenance.
OBJECTIVES:
After attending this training, participants are expected to gain:
- Overview of oil/gas industry
- Intro on process engineering and roles of Process Engineer and Designer
- Intro about PFD, P&ID and UFD as a gate opening to the various processes and steps involved with design
- Overview of the materials, components and equipment normally involved including industrial terms & acronyms
