Background:
Natural gas production requires an integrated surface system that ensures safe, efficient, and accurate transportation of gas from the wellhead to processing or delivery points. Unlike oil-dominated systems, gas facilities demand specific design considerations related to pressure, flow behavior, safety, and measurement accuracy.
This training provides participants with a focused understanding of gas gathering, piping, and measurement systems, starting from a concise introduction to the oil & gas industry and gas production fundamentals, then progressing into the core technical aspects of gas surface facilities. Emphasis is placed on gas flow behavior, pipeline design, compression, metering standards, pigging operations, and corrosion control.
The program is designed to bridge conceptual understanding with practical field applications, enabling participants to better understand how gas is gathered, transported, and measured reliably in upstream operations.
