BACKGROUND:
Big Data dan Cloud Computing sangat terintegrasi, yang dirancang untuk mengelola dan memproses sejumlah besar data tersebut. Skalabilitas dan fleksibilitas Cloud Computing menjadikannya platform yang ideal untuk menangani tantangan unik yang dimiliki oleh Big Data.
Big Data mengacu pada data yang sangat besar, sangat bervariasi, dan tumbuh dengan sangat cepat. Seringkali tidak terstruktur, Big Data memerlukan teknologi khusus untuk diproses lebih lanjut guna mendapatkan wawasan mendalam yang dapat membantu pengambilan keputusan yang lebih baik. Perusahaan besar seperti Google dan Facebook telah berhasil memanfaatkan Big Data untuk mendorong pertumbuhan bisnis mereka. Karakteristik utama dari Big Data sering disebut sebagai 4-V, yaitu Volume (data berukuran besar), Variety (data yang sangat bervariasi), Velocity (data yang tumbuh dengan cepat), dan Veracity (data yang tidak pasti atau tidak jelas).
Untuk beradaptasi dengan teknologi baru ini dan mengambil manfaat maksimal darinya, kita perlu belajar dengan cepat.
