Electrical & Mechanical Safety

BACKGROUND:

Sebagian besar penyebab kebakaran di perkotaan dan di berbagai perusahaan adalah karena listrik, dimana besarnya kerugian secara material selama tahun 2003 adalah sebesar Rp.23 Milyar! Hal ini merupakan kerugian yang sangat besar dan dapat terjadi di perusahaan mana saja apabila tidak memperhatikan kaidah-kaidah keamanan, khususnya dalam hal ini di bidang electrical & mechanical.

Standar OHSAS mengenai bahaya-bahaya listrik dan mekanikal terhadap pekerja, mewajibkan perusahaan untuk memberikan pendidikan dan latihan Electrical and Mechanical Safety. Adapun pekerja wajib memberitahu perusahaan melalui atasannya (supervisor) apabila menemukan bahaya-bahaya listrik dan mekanikal di area perusahaan.

 

OBJECTIVES:

Setelah mengikuti pelatihan ini diharapkan peserta:

  • Dapat mengerti metode mengidentifikasi bahaya listrik dan mekanikal di tempat kerja
  • Dapat mengerti metode menggunakan peralatan listrik dan mekanikal dengan aman
  • Dapat mengetahui efek arus listrik pada badan manusia, klasifikasi daerah bahaya, isolasi energi (LOTO)
  • Dapat mengerti program pencegahan bahaya mekanikal (Machine Guarding)
