Engineering Cost Estimate

BACKGROUND:

Definisi Cost Engineering menurut AACE (American Association of Cost Engineer) adalah “suatu bidang engineering, yang meliputi penerapan prinsip-prinsip ilmiah dan teknik, dengan menggunakan pengalaman dan pertimbangan engineering dalam masalah estimasi biaya, pengendalian biaya dan ekonomi teknik“. Pada saat cost engineering belum berkembang perhitungan biaya konstruksi selalu mengalami penyimpangan yang cukup besar. Merespon semua kondisi yang terjadi pada perencanaan dan pelaksanaan proyek maka dibentuklah Asosiasi Cost Engineer th.1956 di USA, dengan nama “the American Association of Cost Engineer – AACE”.

Salah satu kunci di dalam menghasilkan proyek yang sukses baik dari segi biaya maupun schedule adalah dengan melakukan proses yang dinamakan pre-project planning. Pre-project planning adalah suatu proses yang dilakukan oleh project owner dimulai dari pre-FS, pre-FEED, sebelum melakukan proses FEED dan EPC. Ketika pre-project planning ini dilakukan dengan benar sesuai dengan data statistik dari CII hasilnya adalah biaya proyek bisa kurang 4% dari budget dan schedule pekerjaan bisa lebih cepat 13% dari schedule awal. Untuk itu penting memahami engineering cost estimate agar terhindar dari pembengkakan dana.

OBJECTIVES:

Setelah mengikuti pelatihan ini peserta diharapkan:

  • Memahami konsep dan teknik yang digunakan dalam estimasi proyek, dari tahap konseptual sampai estimasi perincian akhir
  • Dapat menyusun kebijakan perusahaan terkait pengelolaan hubungan kerja

  • Memahami konsep dasar rekayasa nilai dan analisis

Ir. R. Iim Takwim, ST., MM., IPM., ASEAN.Eng., ACPE

Ir. R. Iim Takwim, ST., MM., IPM., ASEAN.Eng., ACPE, is a university graduate majoring in Industrial Engineering since then he also finished his master degree and doctoral in Human Resources to complement his skills. His professional experiences are as Manager of HRD in Textile Industry, Manager of Production in Garments Industry at PT. Fit-U, Head of Laboratory of Industry, Automotive, Machines at STT-JB, etc.

He actively shares his extensive skills and knowledge with various reputable companies and organizations across industries. These include leading names in the oil, gas, mining, manufacturing, and energy sectors. Among them are PT. Timah Tbk, PT. Arun LNG, PT. Petrosea Tbk, PT. Freeport Indonesia, Pertamina, Chevron Pacific Indonesia, and BP Migas.
