Instrumentation, Electrical and Control System
BACKGROUND:
Covers the principles of industrial instrumentation, sensor, signal transmission, interfacing, actuator, process control, the operation of basic PID Controller on PLC and DCS. Describe the electronics of instrument, interface device and controller. Also provides the usually found advanced PID configuration in industrial systems. Simple method for PID controller tuning is also discussed.
OBJECTIVES:
After taking this course, you will be able to:

About The Course Leader
Prof. Endra Joelianto, Ir., Ph.D., SMIEEE
He is an expert in control engineering, specializing in Hybrid Control Systems, Discrete Event Control Systems, Petri Nets, Robust PID Controllers, Advanced Process Control, and Industrial Automation using PLC/DCS. Prof Endra holds an Engineering Physics degree from ITB (1990) and a Ph.D. in Control Engineering from The Australian National University (2001).
He is the coordinator of Intelligent Control and Automation and founder of the PLC Research Group at the Instrumentation and Control Laboratory (LINK), ITB. He also established the Schneider-OMRON PLC Training Center at Maranatha Christian University, collaborating with Schneider Electric Indonesia, OMRON Japan, and Invensys WONDERWARE.
Prof. Endra has led several industrial automation and control training programs, including TPSDP Retooling Projects, and attended professional training in PLC, DCS, and instrumentation calibration in Indonesia, Singapore, and South Africa. He regularly instructs public, university, and in-house training for leading companies and institutions in the petrochemical, oil, gas, and manufacturing sectors.
