Safety Instrumented System (SIS) and Control
BACKGROUND:
Process safety is a critical element in industries involving high-risk operations, such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, and manufacturing. One of the main components in process safety management is the Safety Instrumented System (SIS). Safety Instrumented System (SIS) and Controls is designed to protect personnel, the environment, and assets from potential incidents that can cause significant losses.
This training aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the design, implementation, and management of SIS, in accordance with international standards such as IEC 61508 and IEC 61511. Participants will learn basic concepts, risk analysis, Layer of Protection Analysis management, and system testing to ensure the reliability and integrity of SIS in daily operations.
OBJECTIVES:
- Expand your practical knowledge in the design and application of safety instrumented systems (SIS) as applied to industrial processes
- Provide you with the knowledge of the latest standards dealing with each stage of the safety life cycle from the initial evaluation of hazards to the detailed engineering and maintenance of safety instrumented systems
- Give you the ability to reduce risks and mitigate hazard consequence, then design, implement, operate and maintain the SIS to meet the requirement
- Assist your company to implement functional safety measures conforms to international standards
