Background

Dalam industri migas, kegiatan pengeboran merupakan salah satu proses yang paling kritis dan memerlukan perencanaan yang matang serta keahlian teknis yang tinggi. Drilling Engineering and Well Planning adalah elemen fundamental yang memastikan operasi pengeboran berjalan dengan aman, efisien, dan sesuai anggaran. Melalui perencanaan dan teknik pengeboran yang optimal, perusahaan dapat meminimalkan risiko, mengurangi biaya operasional, serta memastikan keberhasilan eksplorasi dan produksi hidrokarbon.

Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman menyeluruh tentang prinsip-prinsip teknik pengeboran dan perencanaan sumur yang efektif. Peserta akan mempelajari berbagai aspek seperti desain sumur, pemilihan peralatan pengeboran, pengelolaan tekanan sumur, hingga evaluasi risiko. Dengan pendekatan yang memadukan teori dan praktik, pelatihan ini akan membekali peserta dengan keterampilan dan wawasan yang relevan untuk menghadapi tantangan operasional di lapangan.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Memahami konsep dasar teknik pengeboran (Drilling Engineering) dan proses Well Planning.
  • Merancang desain sumur yang aman dan ekonomis sesuai dengan kebutuhan proyek.
  • Mengidentifikasi dan memilih peralatan pengeboran yang sesuai untuk berbagai kondisi operasi.
  • Mengelola tekanan sumur secara efektif untuk mencegah kick, blowout, dan masalah lainnya.
  • Melakukan evaluasi risiko operasional serta mengembangkan strategi mitigasi risiko.
  • Mengintegrasikan aspek keselamatan, lingkungan, dan efisiensi dalam proses pengeboran dan perencanaan sumur.

About The Course Leader

Prof. Herianto, Ir., M.Sc., Ph.D.: A Pioneer in Petroleum Engineering

Prof. Herianto, Ir., M.Sc., Ph.D., is a highly accomplished professor with a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering. Since 1983, he has been a senior lecturer at UPN Veteran Yogyakarta, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in petroleum engineering. His expertise extends to other institutions, including Trisakti University in Jakarta and the University of Riau, where he lectures on advanced topics in geology, petroleum, and chemical engineering. Beyond academia, Prof. Herianto is a trusted consultant and trainer for leading oil and gas companies across Indonesia.

With over three decades of experience, Prof. Herianto has contributed to significant national energy projects, including geothermal exploration and oil and gas regulatory frameworks. He has served as a consultant for key organizations such as BP Migas, PLN Geothermal, and the National Energy Council. Notable projects include assessments of oil and gas potential in Arafura and Savu and geothermal development in Central Java and Ambon.

Between 2000 and 2018, he was an instructor for international drilling certifications and has trained professionals from industry giants like Pertamina, Chevron, and Total Indonesie. His training has covered more than 50 specialized topics, helping companies optimize operations and develop innovative energy solutions.

In leadership roles, Prof. Herianto has served as the head of PT. Riau Petroleum and the Petroleum Engineering Department at UPN Veteran Yogyakarta. He is also an active researcher in oil, gas, and geothermal energy, regularly publishing and presenting his work at national and international forums. His contributions have solidified his reputation as a leader in Indonesia’s energy sector.
