Powerful Database Analysis & Dashboard Reporting using Microsoft Excel
BACKGROUND:
The process of analyzing data and creating a dashboard summary report from text files imported from large applications, such as SAP/ERP, is still often conducted using time-consuming methods, taking hours or even days, even when using Microsoft Excel.
However, by employing advanced methods—already available in Excel—and utilizing its latest functions, tasks such as data processing, data validation, data analysis, and reporting can be completed quickly, even when dealing with over 100,000 (one hundred thousand) records and can be tailored to meet the requirements of the employee’s superiors.
Moreover, the results can be presented in the form of an interactive, dynamic, and visually appealing dashboard summary report for further database analysis. Excel also offers powerful features that are not enabled by default, such as the Solver Analysis Tool Pack.
By using the Data Solver Analysis tool, budgeting analysis simulations can be conducted quickly and easily, with a high degree of accuracy.
With the existing validation and database analysis functions, there is no longer a need to develop a separate database analysis and summary reporting application using specific programming languages, which would require significant time and cost. All the aforementioned tasks can be efficiently, accurately, and easily handled using Excel.

About The Course Leader
Andika B Saputra S.Kom, MKom
Andika B. Saputra, S.Kom, M.Kom, is a practitioner, instructor, and lecturer with a strong background in Information Technology (IT). He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in IT in 2013 with commendable performance and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in the same field.
Since 2010, Andika built extensive practical experience as both an HRD Manager and Operational Manager. In 2016, he started working as a lecturer and took on the role of Head of the Informatics Bachelor Study Program in Jogjakarta, Indonesia. Alongside his academic roles, he consults and delivers public and in-house IT training, including certified sessions by the Indonesia National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP). Clients from oil and mining companies across Sumatra, Kalimantan, and Java actively seek his expertise.
In addition to his formal education, Andika holds an impressive array of certifications, such as Certified Digital Marketing (CDMP), Google Digital Marketing, Certified International Information System Auditor (CIISA), IT Auditor (IATI), and several certifications in design, big data, Python, and IBM technologies.
