PENDAHULUAN:

Industri minyak dan gas mencakup aktifitas yang sangat luas, sejak tahap eksplorasi sampai dengan eksploitasi serta melibatkan disiplin ilmu yang sangat kompleks. Yang kasat mata adalah kegiatan di atas permukaan (oil & gas surface facilities and measuring system). Karena sifat minyak/gas yang mudah terbakar, maka diperlukan tenaga berkompeten untuk menanganinya. Satu disiplin ilmu saja tidak cukup untuk menanganinya. Untuk itu diperlukan multi disiplin yang komprehensif agar operasi dan produksi dapat berjalan dengan aman, lancar, dapat diterima secara teknis dan ramah lingkungan.

Training ini dirancang untuk peserta yang ingin mengetahui peralatan oil and gas surface facilities dan memahami konsep memproses minyak dan gas mulai dari wellhead sampai ke measuriement system dan storage tanks (peralatan & operasi yang kasat mata).

Di samping itu peserta akan belajar teori dan perhitungan yang digunakan oleh production engineers untuk mendesain dan memilih, serta mengoperasikan surface process equipment, measurement sistem dan storage tanks.

Dengan demikian, peserta dapat memberikan nilai tambah dalam operasi & produksi di tempat kerjanya.

OBJEKTIF:

Dengan mengikuti training ini, peserta akan belajar dasar-dasar teknologi untuk mengeksploitasi dan memproses minyak dan gas dengan efisien dan memecahkan masalah yang berkaitan dengan oil and gas surface facilities and measuring system. Peserta training akan mempelajari dasar-dasar industri minyak bumi mulai dari sub-surface, sumur produksi, kepala sumur, piping, surface facilities, sifat-sifat fluida produksi. Selain itu peserta akan belajar mengenai pembersihan pipa & sekilas tentang cara mencegah korosi. Terakhir yang tidak kalah pentinya adalah untuk mengetahui tentang sistem pengukuran produksi yang terjual kepada konsumen.

ABOUT THE COURSE LEADERS:

Prof. Herianto, Ir, M.Sc., Ph.D

Prof. Herianto holds a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering and has been a senior lecturer since 1983. He teaches in undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Petroleum Engineering at UPN Veteran Yogyakarta, along with postgraduate programs at Universitas Trisakti Jakarta, Universitas Riau, and the Geological Engineering Master’s Program at UPN Veteran Yogyakarta. His dedication to education is complemented by his extensive practical experience in the energy sector.

Professional Experience

Prof. Herianto has built an impressive career as a senior trainer and consultant for leading oil and gas companies. Notably, he worked for three years as Support Manager at GeoQuest Schlumberger, gaining invaluable industry insights. His consulting expertise extends to organizations like Indonesia Power, PLN Geothermal, BP Migas, and the National Energy Council. He has contributed to pivotal projects such as the National Energy Resilience Initiative, energy infrastructure development, and regulatory frameworks for CBM and old well contract models. His geothermal projects, including those in Guci (Central Java) and Tulehu (Ambon), highlight his diverse skills in energy exploration and development.

Leadership and Research Contributions

Prof. Herianto has held significant leadership roles, including Head of the Petroleum Engineering Department at UPN Veteran (2016–2020) and Director at PT. Riau Petroleum (2011–2016). His research in oil and gas and geothermal energy has been widely recognized, with presentations at national and international forums.

Industry Collaboration

As a sought-after trainer and consultant, Prof. Herianto has worked with numerous renowned companies, including PetroChina, Pertamina Hulu Energi, Repsol, Total Indonesie, and Petronas. His training programs cover various topics, ranging from drilling techniques to geothermal energy applications, showcasing his ability to address industry-specific challenges and innovations.

Between 2000 and 2018, Prof. Herianto served as an instructor for Drilling Certification under IADC and WCS for Well Control, solidifying his reputation as a top-tier trainer. He has delivered over 50 training topics to companies such as Chevron Pacific Indonesia, Total Indonesie, and Pertamina. His areas of expertise include well barrier and well integrity, geothermal energy, and oil and gas exploration. Additionally, he continues to serve as a resource person for the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and PT. Pertamina EP.
