BACKGROUND:
Mechanical seals are integral to the functionality and efficiency of various industrial systems. These contain fluid inside the components of a vessel or system, usually in a pump or mixing device. Though small, these seals play a big part in manufacturing processes across numerous industries and if one fails it can bring production to a halt and often create a spill which could be dangerous for employees if the fluid used in the system is hazardous to health.
In rotating equipment or wherever it is used mechanical seals play vital roles. Hence whoever deals with them shall take a good care & knowledgable of it.
OBJECTIVES:
